Friday Night Live! on the Avenue a Huge Success
Friday Night Live! on Roanoke Avenue saw approximately 500 people in attendance and was a tremendous success for the Roanoke Avenue Business Alliance. Steve Owens and Summertime performed for over 3 hours for an amazing crowd and officially kicked off the "Fridays in the Park" series and the summer season! The mission of the Roanoke Avenue Business Alliance, known as "RABA", is to alleviate the physical, economic, and social deterioration and increase economic activity and employment of the Roanoke Avenue Business District in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The Alliance will seek to enhance the overall business and commercial environment and assist in the historic preservation of the Avenue, thus improving the quality of life for all people of the Roanoke Rapids Area.
